Strategic alliances for change managementSince 2006, the Social Insurance Fund of Costa Rica has followed a strategy based on the creation of "Strategic alliances for change management" which combines the forces of public and private organizations in the pursuit of one single goal: the fight against dengue fever, a disease which has had serious effects on the Costa Rican population over the past 15 years.
This is perhaps the first time in the history of the CCSS that we have managed to pool our communication tools and resources in such a sustained and creative way without creating discord, and it has enabled the issue of dengue fever to be kept constantly in the limelight of the public communication media. In order to achieve this goal, the Organizational Communication Department of the CCSS designed a strategic framework that has proved long-lasting and flexible enough for sustained growth, thus becoming a working platform for the management of change in knowledge, attitudes and practices on the part of the population Full text: 2CostaRicaCCSS1.pdf 89.71 kB
