UK – 80% Less Reportable Injuries: MPA Health and Safety Awards Highlight Commitment to Target Zero

The prestigious MPA Health and Safety Best Practice Awards 2009 took place today at the Institution of Civil Engineers in Central London. In the last 10 years, accidents amongst MPA members have been reduced by a staggering 80% and the Awards underline the determination of MPA members to focus on the Hard Target of Zero Injuries. The sector is well on course to attaining its goal and this achievement was highlighted in the range of exceptional and innovative examples of health and safety best practice, which were showcased at the Awards.
