From 20th to 22th September 2010 the Turkish delegation attended the workshop "Occupational Health Service in Germany".
The workshop’s agenda covered the OHS services of the German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the Raw Materials and Chemical Industry (BG RCI). Martin Böttcher, head of BG RCI’s prevention district Langenhagen reported on these items:
- OHS example I: Employer model of the BG RCI
- Training of Safety Specialist and Designated Worker
- Surveillance of OHS - Role of Inspection System(s)
The delegates were very interested in the training of work safety experts. The next great challenge in Turkey is to design a nationwide system, that would be able to inspect and advise all SME´s all over the country.
