Background

To better serve the diverse needs and priorities of the Association’s membership, the ISSA is developing new structures to ensure the successful targeting and delivery of ISSA’s programme to members by focusing on the priorities and challenges specific to various regions and language groups.

The ISSA Focal Point for Chinese members was officially opened in Beijing, People's Republic of China, on 10 October 2011, and is hosted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, People's Republic of China.

Objectives

The Focal Point has been established to respond to the need for developing targeted activities for ISSA member organizations in China in order to support the national and regional development of social security. The working language of this Office is Chinese.

Scope

The Focal Point works with ISSA member organizations and social security institutions in the People's Republic of China.
