1. Demographic changes and social security
To enhance knowledge of member organizations with regard to the impact of demographic changes on existing and on new occupational diseases, and to provide a better understanding about the specific risks related to the above working population with a view to providing improved coverage of the respective workers as well as targeted prevention measures for this specific category of workers. Cooperation with the Special Commission on Prevention is envisaged.
2. The contribution of disability management through return to work strategies to ensuring high employment levels
Good practice solutions and a number of case studies will exemplify in a practical manner how targeted measures aimed at disabled people can increase a higher return to work rate and ensure high employment levels of this category of workers.
