Social security in the BRICS countries

The term BRICS refers to the countries of Brazil, the Russian Federation, India, China and South Africa, which together count for over 40 per cent of the world’s population and 20 per cent of global GDP.

These videos were produced at a special event on the extension of  social security coverage during the 100th Session of  the International  Labour Conference, where ministers from all BRICS countries shared their  unique experiences and participated in a discussion on future  perspectives and challenges.
