Electronic declarationElectronic declarations are an innovative way to declare earnings using new information and communication technologies – that is, via the Internet.
In concrete terms, in order to declare income electronically, an earnings declaration must first be generated in a well-defined digital format with parameters that can be set within the company's payroll software. Next, access to a computer with an Internet connection is required. Last, the employer follows just three steps: connect to the electronic declaration site, transfer the electronic declaration and confirm the results. The earnings declarations are then submitted to Cameroon's National Social Insurance Fund (Caisse nationale de prévoyance sociale (CNPS)) within a maximum of five minutes. A receipt is provided automatically. The electronic declaration site allows employers who do not have software that can generate declarations in electronic format to produce the declaration via a form designed specifically for that purpose. The employer can then immediately download electronic declarations prepared this way and use them for future contribution periods. Full text: 2CamerounCNPS 2011-4.pdf 174.85 kB
