The aim of the International Section of the ISSA for Research on Prevention is to develop a propitious environment for exchanges between prevention practitioners and researchers working in the field of occupational risks prevention.

Types of Membership

 

The International Section of the ISSA for Research on Prevention is composed of ordinary and corresponding members.

 

Ordinary members: The International Prevention Sections, set up in the framework of the Special Commission on Prevention, are ex-officio ordinary members. The following may become ordinary members:

  • members of the International Social Security Association;
  • all non-profit organizations whose objectives are consistent with those of the Section.  

 

Corresponding members: The following may become corresponding members:

  • organizations whose objectives are consistent with those of the Section and which are not qualified to become ordinary members;
  • experts who wish to take part in the Section's activities on an individual basis.

 

Commencement and termination of membership:

The membership is acquired after a request for adhesion was made in   writing and approved by the Bureau. The membership shall terminate when the member resigns or when the Bureau pronounces the exclusion.

 

Application for Membership

 

If you wish to join the International Section of the ISSA for Research on Prevention, please address a formless application to the Secretariat of the Section for Research on Prevention stating your current occupation, your main field of activity and what motivates your application.

The Bureau will consider your candidature. After deliberation, the Secretariat will inform you of its decision.
