The objective of the Social Security Summit was to promote the central role of social security in society by showcasing the contribution of dynamic social security to cope with current and future socio-economic challenges in Europe. Policy-makers and representatives of regional and international organizations discussed the political dimension and measures necessary to enable dynamic social security systems to demonstrate their potential as key factors in any strategy to respond to challenges in a context of globalization and demographic change.
