Balanse (Balance)

Special Award, International Film- and Multimedia Festival 2011

The short film "Balance" is a part of the international concept "Safety Week" for the company "Skanska". The film was made as a result of many injuries from falling due to lack of personal safety in constructions. The film’s purpose is to get the viewer to think twice before making a possible fatal decision.

The short film is about a man who's going to work in the morning, after leaving his daughter in the kindergarden. He then experiences a difficulty with the job he's about to perform and has to take decision whether to go with safety or to go the easiest way.

Floating World Films have specialized in making compelling stories for the HSE market. We are all concerned about health issues, and feel that we are playing an important part of getting the message through.
