The International Social Security Association has announced that it has obtained the ISO 9001 certification for quality management, making it one of the first international organizations to reach this exacting standard.

The certification was announced by the ISSA Secretary General, Hans-Horst Konkolewsky, during the 30th ISSA General Assembly which took place in Cape Town, South Africa on 30 November.

“I am very pleased to announce that the ISSA Secretariat has achieved this quality management standard, which is another stage in building a service-oriented culture for its member organizations,” the ISSA Secretary General Mr. Hans-Horst Konkolewsky reported to the member delegates.
