Workshop on Prevention of Skin Diseases in the Health Services Sector: Skin @ Work

The ISSA International Section on Prevention of Occupational Risks in Health Services organized a workshop together with the Berufsgenossenschaft für Gesunheitsdienst und Wohlfahrtspflege (BGW) Germany, Insitut national de la recherche et de sécurité (INRS) France, and the Swiss Accident Insurance Fund (Suva) Switzerland.

The objectives of the Skin @ Work workshop are the following:

  • To give experts in the field of the prevention of occupational risks and all those involved in the prevention of skin-related risks an international forum in which to present their work and share their experience.
  • To encourage and promote multi-disciplinary approaches to tackling skin problems with the participation of OSH specialists, dermatologists, toxicologists, etc..
  • To establish closer links between research and practice.
