Conference on Understanding Small Enterprises – USE2013
19.02.2013 - 22.02.2013 | Nelson, New Zealand
An international conference on ‘Understanding Small Enterprises (USE2013)’ will be held in Nelson, New Zealand from 19-22 February 2013. It will be hosted by Massey University and AUT University and follows-on from the highly successful inaugural USE conference held in Denmark in 2009. The conference theme is: From USE to action: transforming our understanding of small enterprises into practise to create healthy working lives in healthy businesses.

The organisers welcome cross-disciplinary participants with an interest in small (and medium) businesses (SMEs), particularly quality of working life and work environment, including: academics, researchers, practitioners, consultants, owners and managers of small enterprises, social partners, government officials and policy makers.

The Call for Papers is now open for abstracts for the presentation of papers, posters and for proposals for workshops, roundtable discussions, special sessions and special streams. The host city of Nelson, often referred to as the ‘sunshine city’, is a picturesque and vibrant seaside city with a ‘small town’ charm renowned for its arts scene, alfresco dining, sandy beaches and mountain wilderness.
