(1) The film Agir pour prevenir l’harcelement sexuel en entreprise produced by Le deuxième Observatoire in Switzerland was awarded a first prize for the clarity of its message, the practical solutions and the straightforward advice about how to manage sexual harassment.
(2) The Nick of Time produced by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Council of Labor Affairs in Taiwan, Republic of China, was awarded a first prize for a very different approach. Taking the concept that ‘Death is watching’, the film uses animation to present the many risks and dangers facing workers, and how their attitude to safety is critical in avoiding injury. The Jury commended the excellent quality of the film, and applauded the original approach.
(3) A third first prize was awarded to the Workplace Safety and Health Counci l and ST Engineering from Singapore for their entries of animated films which featured in the Safety@Work campaign. The Jury was impressed by Animation in Safety@Work for the originality of the entry which compared the in-built safety features of animals with those of workers, and the need for protection.
Special awards were given to three films:

(2) Le stress au travail, INRS, France
(3) Accidente real – importancia de la carta, Tescur, Peru
(1) Picknickkorb zur Vermeidung von Stressanfällen: ein interaktives Angebot für Unternehmerinnen, Unternehmer, Beschäftigte und Azubis im Gastgewerbe produced by the BG Nahrungsmittel und Gaststätten in Mannheim, Germany.
It is a free-of-charge Internet portal for employers, employees and apprentices in the hotel and restaurant sector. The website offers employers and employees comprehensive information on stress, including online tests, how to avoid stress and on time management, articles and brochures. The jury selected the application for its correct and original way in which the topic was presented to a sector with a large number of SMEs.
(2) First 4 weeks was produced by the Industrial Accident Prevention Association, Canada.
It is an interactive health and safety orientation and training kit for young and inexperienced workers and their supervisors to guide them through the first month of their health and safety training on-the-job. It was chosen for its comprehensive approach offering tools and fact sheets, video clips, learning maps and action plans.
(3) Catering Industry Accident Studies (CATIAS) was produced by the Occupational Safety & Health Council Hong Kong.
This education package is an interactive multimedia training programme consisting of 14 computer-simulated accident cases in three different categories of catering. Users may take part in the accident investigation, enabling them to review the causes of accidents and learn about the safety precautions. It is a programme for all ages and all levels without being patronizing.
