ILO National Legislation Database

NATLEX is the database of national labour, social security and related human rights legislation maintained by the by the International Labour Office. NATLEX contains over 65,000 records covering over 190 countries and over 160 territories and subdivisions.

Information concerning national social security expenditure, total and per branch, compiled by the ILO from various sources.


 

ILO Social Security Database: Programmes and Mechanisms

The description of social security programmes is mainly based on the four-volume series Social Security Programs Throughout the World (SSPTW), a product of the cooperative effort of the US Social Security Administration and of the ISSA. This is mainly the same data as in the ISSA Scheme Descriptions, but presented in another way.

 

ILO Cost of Social Security data

The data published are provided to the ILO by the national governmental institutions (Ministries of Labour, Social Affairs, Social Security Institutions etc.).

Labordoc contains references to a wide range of print and electronic publications, including journal articles, from countries around the world, on all aspects of work and sustainable livelihoods, and the work-related aspects of economic and social development and human rights.
