The ISSA Section for the Prevention of Occupational Risks in Machine and System Safety is a non-profit making, non-governmental organization which is committed to improving safety and health at work in the field of machine and system safety worldwide.

Conference on Understanding Small Enterprises – USE2013

19.02.2013 - 22.02.2013 | Nelson, New Zealand

An international conference on ‘Understanding Small Enterprises (USE2013)’ will be held in Nelson, New Zealand from 19-22 February 2013. It will be hosted by Massey University and AUT University and follows-on from the highly successful inaugural USE conference held in Denmark in 2009. The conference theme is: From USE to action: transforming our understanding of small enterprises into practise to create healthy working lives in healthy businesses.

Safety Flyers [Presses]

The present safety flyers are addressed to enterprises (users, installers of presses, supervisors) as well as to safety experts and controllers.
The safety flyers have been written as short information in order to clarify the requirements fixed in the Directives but also to present new technologies (servo or hybrid presses). We would like to draw attention to the requirements to technical safety and to control points for the user and installer of presses before and during the production.

Teil 1: Mühlen, Brecher, Mischer, Abscheider, Siebmaschinen

Diese Beispielsammlung soll projektierenden Ingenieuren, Betriebsleitern, Sicherheitsfachkräften und anderen Beteiligten die Möglichkeit geben, ohne spezielle Kenntnisse auf dem Gebiet des Explosionsschutzes im eigenen Betrieb oder beim Bau, bei der Ausrüstung und Aufstellung von Anlagen zu beurteilen, ob Explosionsrisiken vorhanden sind.
