The conference “Building materials and Building machinery made in Germany”, embedded in the trade fair and set up by the German Institute for Precast Technology Weimar gave a platform for ISSA Mining and MoLISA and attracted a vast number of industry representatives interested in improving the level of safety and health at work.

Pham Gia Luong, Vice Director General of MoLISA’s Bureau for Safe Work talked of Vietnam’s high motivation and strategy in improving work safety during his presentation on “Improving working conditions in Enterprises”.

Martin Böttcher, senior labour inspector of BG RCI´s prevention unit building materials and aggregates in Langenhagen/Germany, talked about the new prevention campaign tailored to the German concrete industry, carried by the German Social Accident Insurance Institution for raw materials and chemical industry – an example for the preventive service of the statutory accident insurance in Germany developing services with tangible advice according to the industry’s needs.

A variety of more speakers informed the interested audience and answered the many questions on potentials in improving safe work in the construction material industry.
